will a sapphire radeon 7770 work with my system

hello everyone i need some help buying a graphics card and i think ive decided on the one i want to get but i would like a second opinion. If you read my name you will know that i am not very good with computers. my friend just gave me his old one and i would like to be able to play games with better fps. Its a hp a6230n link and the intergrated video card is awful.

im not looking to play any crazy games like skyrim on ultra i would just like better fps on games like new vegas and crysis 1.
is this a good choice, or would you recommend something else? my budget is around $150-$175 for the card and psu.

Cool cool, but, one problem, the CPU, wouldn't be able to keep up with this GPU, I'm thinking a bottleneck would be at hand. Which is when the CPU can't keep up with the GPU.
