Minecraft Server Build

Hi guys,

Im looking to build a dedicated minecraft server. This rig is going to be on 24/7 and I'm hoping to have 50 people on at once without lag. My price range is preferably 200-250, Max is 300. Thanks for the help!

One more thing, I don't need a hard drive because i am going to be using an extra i have.

It would be significantly cheaper and easier to manage if you were to use a renting service. There is a difference between a personal computer and a server computer. If you really want to host your own server I recommend you buy a server computer rather than building one. A renting service may cost around 45$ a month with many other free services such as VOIP hosting. Running it on your own server computer might also slow down your internet connection decreasing your gaming experience.
