Im still having issues with this computer. I recently wiped the hard drive and tried to install Win7 i waited for 1 hour and nothing. I tried a different OS and same thing. I resorted to flashing and updated bios and tried again and still nothing. Im completely stumped. Its a emachine EL-1200-06w.

Yes when I booted up it would load to the home screen and stay on the wallpaper. After I wiped the hard drive I was able to install Windows 7 ultimate. After it ran and updates I restarted it. Then it would only boot to the Windows log. It was extremely slow and now I can't install any kind of os
