So I recently built a new gaming rig from scratch, with a Sapphire Radeon 7950 3GB GDDR5, and it came with Crysis 3 for free with the GPU. I seem to be getting some weirdly low FPS counts with this game. Here's my specs:
Case: Cooler Master HAF 912
GPU: Sapphire Radeon 7950 3GB GDDR5 (Not overclocked)
Processor: i5-3570k (Not overclocked, at stock 3.4Ghz)
Power Supply: Corsair Enthusiast Series TX750
Motherboard: ASUS P8B75-V
RAM: 14GB DDR3 RAM 1333 Mhz
HDD: SATA 7200RPM 1TB HDD
I also have a Cooler Master V8 cooler for my processor.
When playing Crysis 3 on Very High settings at 1920x1080 I seem to be getting at BEST 30FPS, where I have seen people with setups similar to mine achieving at least between 45-50 FPS at 1920x1080 resolution on Very High settings, is my computer not really adequate to play Crysis 3 on Very High or do you think it may be a driver problem or some other issue? I have BioShock Infinite as well which I can play at 1920x1080 resolution on Ultra settings with v-sync on at 60 FPS smoothly with absolutely no FPS drop. Any suggestions or comments on this?
