Hi all,

I'm planning to build a gaming rig. I'm hoping not to break the bank while also being able to go a good couple of years without needing to upgrade anything major. This is also partly why the system is designed (to me) to be pretty versatile/compatible when it comes to overclocking.

CM Storm Scout II
IntelCore i5 3570K CPU
MSI Z77A-G45 mobo
Intel 520 series 240GB SSD
Seagate Barracuda 3TB HDD
MSI GeForce GTX 660 Ti Power Ed (or GTX 670 - whatcha' think?)
Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR3 RAM
Corsair GS700 PSU
Corsair H100i Hydro Cooling Perf
Corsair SP120 Quiet fans (1,450rpm)

Anyway, what do you guys think? Also, can anyone think of a reason why I might want an Intel i7 instead?

Thanks heaps!

For gaming i7 won't do anything and you might want to wait for haswell because you will be building on the dead 1155 socket and haswell will be on the 1150 socket. Which means if you wait a little bit you can upgrade easier. Everything looks great. And also wait for the 770 or the 760 to come out.
