Hi all, looking for some advice on a new build i'm planning to do in a few days. I've been shopping around and researching a lot recently but being so out of touch with all the latest stuff I think it's best I ask the experts.

Approximate Purchase Date: Friday this week

Budget Range: Don't really want to go above the £700 mark - and that needs to include a copy of windows 7 and a wireless adapter.

System Usage from Most to Least Important: Gaming, movies, surfing net, light music production(don't want it to affect the build as I will purchase a seperate laptop for this in the future, however I will need a firewire port)

Parts Not Required: Monitor

Preferred Website(s) for Parts: not too fussed, scan.co.uk seems good but again I havnt baught PC parts in almost 10 years so I could be wrong.

Country: UK

Parts Preferences: Really like the look of the fractal R4 case however the lack of a firewire port is leaning me towards the Corsair 400R. Ideally i'd like an intel i5 CPU and HD7870/similar graphics card.

Overclocking: Not needed

SLI or Crossfire: Not needed

Monitor Resolution: I have a 27" LCD TV I was planning on using but would I be better of buying a separate PC monitor wit a smaller screen to avoid needing a more expensive GPU?

Additional Comments: I've seen the website logicalincrements.com recommended, are they good to use as a guide for my build?

Many thanks for taking the time to read.

Sam

I included the Corsair 400R and the 7870 that you want. Well, you can change the other parts but I guess this is all good? Went over £700 though.
