M madhu5 Honorable May 29, 2013 2 0 10,510 May 31, 2013 #4 @Alabalcho - ubuntu isn't listed in my programs list. I have used easybcd to remove ubuntu from boot menu and then formatted the D drive in which ubuntu was installed. Problem solved, thank you both for your time.
