Possible to connect Wireless AND ethernet on same router?

Hi,

I have a netgear VMDG280 router given to me by Virgin Media and I just bought power over Ethernet connection for my desktop PC. The power over Ethernet is working great only problem is my girlfriend can't connect to the router anymore on here laptop which uses wireless.

Is it possible to connect to this router using Ethernet and wireless from two separate computers?

mod can close this now seems laptop was just having a random internet drop out as all seems to be working ok again.
