Hi guys I'm going to buy my parts by tonight or tomorrow morning. I'm not planning to overclock anything so here's what I have in mind.

I'm pretty set on the CPU/Mobo combo BUT
Please let me know if there is a better substitution in any of the categories of parts. Ex: Better performance memory, more efficient power supply, more trusted storage, etc...

I know it's a lot of information but if you could just take your time and look over everything I would appreciate it a lot. Thanks!

@Someone Somewhere I'm not planning to OC and I'm probably set on the mobo and cpu since I'm getting it at Microcenter where it's bundled at a cheap price. Thanks though!

Personally if you're not going to OC I wouldn't go with the K series and as Home Brew said I'd pick a different cheaper mobo. However if the bundle will cost you less than the non K version cpu and mobo, sure why not. The other spot I would try and save would be the ram, no need to get get the 1600mhz when it's going to be running at 1333mhz by default. I've seen some cheaper options personally at my local store.

Here's the link to the bundles and I was wrong the ASUS is actually the middle priced mobo ;) http://www.microcenter.com/site/brands/intel-processor-bundles.aspx

Also this is what I have bought so far EXCEPT the CPU and Mobo.

Do I need to purchase any thermal compound or any after market fans?

Looks good, but you can add a MB other than the ones explicitly linked in the bundles. I just added an i5-3570K and Z77A-G45, and it's telling me the MB is $84.99, 74.99 after MIR.

CM Hyper212Evo and the intel stock cooler both come with thermal paste.

Well my budget for the mobo and cpu is $300 actually because my girlfriend is buying it for me so the asus and I5 just falls below $300. I've seen people buy like the arctic silver thermal compound but I'd it needed out just a luxury
