Hello,

I have overclocked the 3570k with a hyper 212 evo on an AS Rock extreme 4 to 4.5ghz.

Temps and voltages are as follows.

Stable for 2 hours on Prime 95 custom (4096 ram and max FFT length 1792)

Max Temps recorded are: 65 degrees on hottest cores.

I am using offset and turbo boost is set to +0.0016

My maximum vcore reached to get this clock and these temps is only 1.152v2 (However, when running Intel burn test extreme the voltage did go up to 1.176)

This Vcore seems quite low for 4.5ghz.

However, I assume I have got lucky with a good chip.

Can anyone recommend if I should clock further for example, to 4.7-5ghz??

Will it be ok with this cpu cooler since the chip appears to be good.

Please don't bump.

You should definitely run a longer Prime95 test and make sure it is a small ffts test not a blend test. Usually 12hours Prime small ffts means your cpu is stable. You can then run a blend test to determine entire system stability. IBT at maximum is a good blend test as well which pushes your RAM.

Your temps look good, and hopefully you go have a good chip :)  That is nice and low vcore for that frequenncy, if you pass Prime then I would push the cpu higher but you really don't need to.
