So I am wondering if anyone has had any experience with this (PC7950) card. I hear that the PowerColor support is fantastic which is a plus. Just a little on the fence at the moment. Can get a 660ti for a little (like 20-30bucks) bit cheaper but I am leaning towards the 7950 as it seems to be better OC'ed and along with the fact that I am currently running an AMD based system. The fact that it comes with 4 games right now is also a big plus xD
Thoughts? Mainly in regards to the card. Don't really want to start another nVidia vs AMD war.
Thanks All
Here is the card in question :

I have had a Powercolor Card in the past, it was the 7870 MYST. The card was great but I ended up selling it. As for PNY 660Ti, I actually bought one about 2-3 weeks ago and I'm selling that one now(for pretty cheap too) only because I got a great deal on a 680. The PNY card was awesome, never went about 75C on full load and noise wasn't an issue either. Also PNY has a lifetime warranty.

Between the 7950 and the 660TI, I would go for the 7950 only because it can OC to 7970 speeds, but I wouldn't get that Powercolor card if you plan on doing that. You should get something with a better cooler to ensure stable OCs.

Yeah I have heard great thing about the 7870- MYST. Yeah I was looking at either that PowerColor or the Msi 7950. Although it is the reference cooler and I have no idea how its going to hold up heat wise. Most likely going to keep them stock for now as they already deliver crazy performance haha. How much for the 660ti?

You can check my thread about my 660Ti here:http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/id-1688982/gtx-660-7870-paypal.html

Between the Powercolor and MSI Reference 7950, I would go with MSI only because they are a more well known brand, so their support might be better.

Yeah I understand that. PowerColor seems to have nothing less than phenomenal reviews when it comes to support as well according to research. Will think about that 660ti and let you know within a few days if it hasn't been sold already haha. One of the reasons I was looking at the other two was because of the 4 free games that come with it haha. Waiting for a $400 rebate from t-mobile to come to my account anyways lol. While I am here do u think a 500w PSU will suffice for those 7950s @ stock? I already have a Thermaltake TR2 500w and would like not to have to upgrade but it looks like I am going to.

Yeah that 500w should be enough to power one 7950 at stock speeds, miight not be able to OC it much though. For the 660Ti, just send me a message on that thread if you haven't picked up the 7950 already and it says that I haven't sold it yet. I want to get that card sold as soon as I can otherwise it'll just end up sitting on a shelf.
