Where is the Category for USA, Canada, India, Australia, Afghanistan, Norfolk Islands etc...?

Why is there a General UK & Ireland Discussions Category, anyhow?

More about : category general ireland discussions supposed

That's for European English-speaking users, a legacy category from before the revamp that may still get some use.

Thanks for replying. So what sort of things are expected to be "discusses"? PC or just random things?
What about that old womans/gentlemans category, is that even purposeful?

How about a header at the top of those categories explaining what types of Questions are to be expected?

People tend not to take any notice of categories, take this forum for instance :- http://www.tomshardware.co.uk/forum/forum-10.html where in the header does it say "New build advice"?

I've noticed a lot of Questions (and Discussions) in the Discussions Category that actually should be in the regular PC Categories.

I doubt that most users would (not) even bother reading the "fine print"...

It's an uphill battle to keep the discussions where they should be, along pertinent lines and categories associated with them. That's why we have a stable of reliable moderators - to help with keeping things in order around here. And they do an epic job. :)
