3DVI but only 2 active at any one time.

I have a Radeon HD 7950 and three DVI monitors but I can't get all three to work at the same time. Windows detects 3 screens but will only allow 2 to work any one time, ie 1&2 or 2&3 or 1&3 but never 1&2&3. What's up?

I would love to get the Eyefinity to run across all three. But at this point I would just like to get the desktop on all three.

I am running Windows 7 Home premium (SP1)
AMD Phenom IIx4 955 3.6ghz
8GB ram

I have a Radeon HD 7950. I have both of the DP ports set up as Monitor 1 and 2. The one DVI port as Monitor 3.

I guess My problem was I bought passive DP adapters, they were only 10 bucks each. I have ordered 2 of these:

Yes, the 'Eyefinity' does work much better with the Active DP adapters!! I now have a single desktop across three screens, 5760 x 1080.
