This is a work computer mainly for data processing and still-image viewing/enhancing that I'm planning to build. No games will be played on this. If anyone has any better ideas to enhance this machine please let me know, but be wary that this $1800.00 is my absolute limit.

X79 - Already have the keyboard and mouse. I need the 32GB RAM, but I don't see the purpose of having a SSD since I would just put my OS on it, and I'd rather spend my current budget on other things for now. The estimated system wattage on my original build was marked at 283W, so why not spend less on a power source with a 350W capacity instead of over killing it with 500W? Also, the graphics card you picked out for me is only 1 GB where mine is 2 GB, and it also costs more. I'm confused why this is a superior choice of graphics card.

g-unit1111 - Budget: around $1800.00. Usage: office applications, and some things that I'm not at liberty to discuss with anyone. Which is making it hard to portray what my needs are.

You don't need an i7 to run office applications. You could spend about 1/2 of your proposed budget to get a system for that purpose.

g-unit1111 - Yes, I understand and know that. The "some things I'm not at liberty to discuss" is why the system needs to be higher end. I realize with my budget I may have sort of a luxury model for what I'm doing. I am okay with that.

Hope you didn't pull the trigger yet. The Gen 4 i7's are on the market, and right now they're the same price as the Gen 3 i7 you mentioned.

That still doesn't really help me. If I at least got a general idea of what the system is being used for that would help to be able to configure a build.
