Hello people of tom's hardware,
So recently i've thinking that i need and upgrade on my computer. I stumbled upon this thought when i was playing metro last light and i was having problems with the graphics and fps issues, and that really made the game unpleasing to me. And i said to my self that it's time for an upgrade. So far my system concludes of 4GB RAM but only 3GB is usable since i did not know the difference between 64 bit windows and 32 bit, i have MSI Radeon HD 6770 GPU and Intel Core 2100 3.10GHz quad core CPU. It can run most games i play on medium to mostly high settings. But as time goes the developers progress and make more demanding games. So i turn to this website's community to help me pick a good budget components.

So far i'm thinking of these ones:
AMD Radeon™ HD 6950 Graphics GPU
Crucial DDR3 8GB Dimm 1600MHz Ballistix RAM
i'm not thinking i should change the CPU.

So, what are your thoughts?

I would change the gpu to a 7850. It is slightly better than a 6950, here is the comparison http://www.anandtech.com/bench/Product/549?vs=510. Also here is an article that explains the difference between 64 bit and 32 bit OS. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/difference-32-bit-64-bit-windows/
