Lots of RAM for the 3D stuff.

An i3 for gaming, which is actually quad-core and thus helps with editing.

A solid GPU for this budget, without knowing what you play.

Lots of storage and a nice looking case.

It actually doesn't go over the budget, if you take away the optical drive.

sorry i went $27 over budget due to the video card which by the way i own it and its a BEAST! If you prefer a cheaper video card to reduce money i suggest EVGA's Geforce GTX 660- http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-GeForce-SUPERCLOCKED-Graphics-02G-P4-2662-KR/dp/B00966IREK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1373082314&sr=8-1&keywords=evga+geforce+gtx+660

Also you might need a bios update to use the cpu (the motherboard might also come refreshed with the new one)

If you were wondering about the 4gb of ram its plenty, Most applications don't even use the full 4gb,.
