Computer Isn't Turning On?

I recently finished building my computer. I plugged it in, turned it on, and not much happened. The System Fan #1 light briefly turned on and it started spinning for half a second, but then shut off. Nothing happens unless I unplug it and replug it too. Not even turning one fan on for a brief second. Is this a problem with the motherboard. Could I have plugged something in wrong? I checked and didn't notice anything wrong.

Well, after looking at that, I saw a couple mistakes I had made, but they all were about the monitor and after fixing them it still wouldn't turn on. It only turned on for about half a second.

Any other suggestions?

Could it be the motherboard touching the case? I used standoffs, but could I have done something wrong?
