I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right spot but here it goes:

I'm hoping to build a new gaming rig sometime in the next 3-6 months and I'm looking for some solid literature to help aid in my research.

While I like to think I know more than the average person about computers I am by no means an expert and on top of this I've been away from the tech side of things for a while.

If anyone has some insightful books or article to suggest I would really appreciate it; be it basic components and their functions, specifics on the building process, things to consider, current and relevant information regarding new and upcoming tech, etc. I'm looking to expand all areas of my knowledge so I can get the most out of my research and hopefully my computer as well.

I appreciate any suggestions, thanks everyone.

Books are almost outdated by the time they are published. I would just start with the good tech websites.

Tom's you found.
