Setting up advent printer to scan by wireless

my advent printer will not load wireless scanner - it wants to use USB cable. I cannot work out how to set it up for wireless. It is however OK for wireless printing

Yes on the instructions it asks how will you connect to your printer with options of USB cable Wireless. As I can print from commuter by wireless it is a mystery why I cannot scan
