Hey everyone,
I hope I'm in the right section to ask monitor related questions.
Have you ever had the chance to test either monitor - or even both? I've just bought the GTX780 (yoohoo) and would like to pair it with either of these. I don't like 3-monitor setups, plus I have a bitfenix prodigy, so one card allowed. I like the width these monitors offer.
Here are some specs:
Contrast:
LG is 5.000.000:1
Ph is 20.000.000:1 what's the difference and which one is best?
Response time:
LG is 5ms
Ph is 7ms (gray on gray, as specified in the specs) what's this mean?
Max brightness is the same on both.
Both are IPS technology
Power consumption:
LG is 48w
Ph is 33.3w (Energy Star 6.0)
Cost:
Both are around 500 euros
