I am currently in the process of acquiring my components and are looking for confirmation that they will work together and handle newer games easily producing a smooth gaming experience.
The components are:
Asus HD 7790 Direct CU II OC 1GB GDDR5
Intel core i3 3220
MSI-H61M-P31 (G3) Socket 1155 VGA DVI 8 Channel Audio mATX Motherboard
500GB Seagate hard drive
Corsair 600w CXM Builder Modular 80plus Bronze PSU
Corsair 4GB DDR3 RAM

All of these components will be placed inside of a fractal design core 1000 microatx case and I will be installing windows 7 for the operating system.

Would anybody please be able to confirm that these components will be able to work efficiently along side one another?
Would anybody also be able to confirm that this build would allow me to play newly released games smoothly?

Thank you in advance :-)

Can you link to the RAM model? Just make sure it's running at 1333MHz since that's what your motherboard supports.

I think the i3 especially is a smart pick for a gaming pc.

The Asus Direct CU II GPUs are fantastic--I installed a 570 CU II in my sister's box. However, it may be overkill if you aren't planning on overclocking it. If you are, though, you picked a great variant.

What resolution are you playing on, and what is your threshold for minimum acceptable frames per second?

I'm going to assume that you've seen these benchmarks: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/radeon-hd-7790-bona...
