Playing COD MF3 in multiplayer mode........

HI everyone. I have a PC with a GTX 550 ti GPU and my brother has a Dell laptop with i7 processor. I want to know that how can i connect both the systems to play games like COD MF 2 & 3, BF BC2, BF 3 with my brother in multiplayer mode.. I also have a Cat5e data cable... Please narrate me the whole procedure......PLEASE HELP
