hey guys , first of all my rig is the following

i5 3470 + ASUS P8H77V-LE + corsair vengeance 2x4GB 1600 DDR3

i went in the bios n from AI Tweaker Section . i set AI OverCLock Tuner on Manual & changed BCLK/PEG Frequency to 105.0 !

does this mean i have OCed Ram & CPU ??? or i have rised Turbo Boost Limit ?

i dont want to OC & Reduce my CPU LifeSpan . i have checked Temps & they were jst fine . while gaming i was under 50c .

am i safe to procced this way or i better turn it back to auto

i5 3470 + ASUS P8H77V-LE < Not really worth overclocking on this combo.Yes , CPU lifespan will be diminished.

oh sorry i was researching & i found out that Optimal mode is sort of Auto overclocking which is not Recommended for in capable hardwares . i read that people better use Manual settings if they realy wanna OC the CPU because auto settings is not safe .

& as your saying my combo is not right for OC then how come Optimal mode is safe enough to not Burn my VRM or cause damage:??:  ?

i5 3470 + ASUS P8H77V-LE < With your setup Optimal it will be fine.

If you had a K version CPU and a board that wasn't LE , I would say manual but your options are limited based on your hardware.
