Need Help with assigning macros to my Roccat Kova+

I just need advice on how to use and activate the macros on my Roccat Kova+ while in a game such as COD, far cry 3 , Battlefield 3 etc.etc. ive linked the macros to a keyboard button then assigned the macro to the mouse buttons.. not entirely sure what i'm doing.. please help. thanks

can you assign kova profiles to applications, so that they load up automatically? Using it's own software? I have a roccat arvo keyboard, i think the software is similar to the mouse in that it has an edit profile option, when you click that, it has a "path to executable" area, click the folder looking icon and choose your application you want to link the profile with.
