my blackberry got infected by virus, how to get the pictures back?

last week i checked my blackberry bold 9900 and it worked fine until there comes a time that my phone restarted by itself and something popped up to the screen 'a media card has been inserted that contains errors. do you wish to repair the media card now?' i browsed the internet about this problem, so i clicked 'yes' but there's no positive results. so i sent it to repair. now i got a new blackberry, with the same memory card but i lost almost all of my pictures. i browsed again to search ways to recover my photos, and i asked for the back up file at the blackberry center but they said that my pictures has been infected by viruses, and they formatted my memory card. can i get the pictures back or not? if yes, please answer this and help me. thanks

It depends on the procedure applied during format. You may or may not get back the contents. Did you save anything after the format took place ? If not, than try this and hope for the best.

There are tons of free and decent data recovery software out there which can restore the deleted files, try those as well. Good luck.
