BIOS Power On Password - Failed Miserably

Long story short... I created a power on password + an admin password < - completely the same passwords. So I saved my settings and rebooted the laptop.
I come to the blue box screen where it asks for a password. I type it.. hit enter and I notice... nothing is happening.

From what I have read I'm completely screwed but I can buy a mother board for it and it will work... is there a cheaper route =/

Thanks for the effort but I've came across that a bazillion times now. No luck for me =/ guess I'll be purchasing a new computer in the near future.
