My laptop is going to be used mainly for gaming with other things on the side.

I'm given the option of my primary storage, should I go with a 1TB HDD or a 120GB SDD? *They would be around the same price.

Would the SDD run out of space too fast?

Additional Question: Would 12GB RAM be overkill?

My 120GB SSD won't cut it if I had a lot of games. You could however, get an external hard drive? But performance-wise, I'd go with SSD for sure.

I'd stay around 4-8GB of RAM if you're gaming.

With main desktop, flash storage, and external hard drive, my main laptop only uses 73 gigs but no games. you should be fine with 120 gb. Optimal would be 250 though, no organized person would fill that much up
