Should i upgrade to haswell to save power?

Which saves most power?ignoring feasibility, sensibility and if it is worth it.

I currently have a Xeon E3-1245V2 UnderClocked to 2.3GHz with turbo boost disabled and EIST Enabled.my question is,if i upgrade to each of the following, which of it(only option 3 and 5 or is it all options?) will save more power than my current config(and rank each of them from most energy saving to least)? My power supply is FSP Hexa 500W 80+ (no bronze),so is it compatible with ultra low power?Price is not a factor.Dont tell me which is most sensible,as no hardware will be abandoned or thrown in the process and all that is important is power saving without too much performance loss. Also i already upgraded to an SSD.
Option 1:i7 4770/Xeon E3-1245V3 stock
Option 2:wait for an Asus/Gigabyte 4770R motherboard
Option 3:Underclock Option 1 to 2.7GHz with EIST enabled,Turbo Boost disabled
Option 4:i7 4770S stock
Option 5:Get an i7 3630QM and a compatible mini itx motherboard
Option 6:Get a FX8320 and underclock it to 2.0GHz with Cool n Quiet enabled, turbo disabled
Option 7:Dont change, get a LED IPS panel from phillips,to replace Gateway HX2000 screen
Option 8:Get a H100i for the Xeon E3-1245V2 i have
Thanks in advance.

Dont they have some new power saving mechanism that turns parts of itself off without actually shutting down?

its the cpus sleep state goes into a .05A sleep state instead of .5A or C6/C7 sleep over like C5 or whatever, i dont see it having a huge effect on power consumption as why put ur pc to sleep for long perioids? Also that does not effect its running performance

Which will save more power?I an also go with maximus 6 impact and a 4670k underclocked to 1.8GHz(Turbo disabled,Eist enabled),(since the 1230LV3 is 1.8GHz too it should be fine),together with a hyper 212.

underclocked you would not need a overclocking board like the maximus VI Implact or a hyper 212 cooler lol Both are great parts and get them if u want will be a great pc lol maybe leave it near stock or slightly under

I want the impact for good audio and to fit into a spare bitfenix prodigy, and some other features.Does the impact have TDP underclocking(or what whatever you call it) like the deluxe board?Coz that is interesting and i will set it at 17W.
Hyper 212 as i want it to be almost as cool as room temperature.
And after some time i will give to my cousin who overclocks so i dont want him to destroy anything(he did that before and i wont want to take more risks).
So this saves more power than upgrading from normal lcd to led,and save more power than H100i?

well when u underclock i dont think u can manually set the tdp but should follow as u lower the frequency but the impact is new so i have no idea lol. The H100i uses two fans, and has a pump so i guess yes going to a single fan air cooler u save power, and i dont think ull save drastically a lot of power from a lcd to led monitor

Then i guess i will just underclock then.
I seen that H100i uses less power than H80i so i guess i will not use water cooling.
If that is the case i will continue using my current screen.
My current build then becomes a youtube machine, quite wasteful. If i get the haswell set what can i do with the old xeon?Home Server?

sure, im using a old hp proliant with a two single core xeons with HT as a homeserver for backup and movie streaming and a minecraft server so making a newer xeon into a homeserver will work great
