What would happen if I put my old Sapphire ATi Radeon HD 5750 1gb into my old computer that has a 250w psu, 1gb ram, and a intel pentium cpu, obviously this isn't recommended due to PSU but what are the chances it will actually break anything?

There is a chance that if the old PSU is knackered it could blow the card, that's if over-voltage occurs.

Under-voltage would just mean the card would not work, it should not break it.

I just got a 5 year old computer today (reimaged and working like a champ, for its age, on windows 7). I bought a new GFx card a few months ago so i have my old ATi Radeon HD 5750 1gb laying around and want to put it in this old box i just got today. Not to mention i'm buying a new CPU and mobo this week so i'd also like to put my current asus board and amd athlon II 3.0ghz quad-core in the old box, along with my old ATi card, i'd also like to upgrade the RAM cause it only has 1gb, but I have the feeling imma also need a psu ~550w?
