Good for high-ish settings in today's games at 720p. And 1080p with some reduced settings. I did a build with the A10-5800K (stock) and the HD 6670 (DDR3 VRAM) awhile back. It was OK.

Sure. As long as you reduce settings enough to give you smooth game play. It starts with what resolution you game at. The more pixels/texels the card has to address, the more work it needs to do. Then how much eye candy you need to enjoy the game.
