OC on fx-8350 on asrock 990fx extreme 3

I have been looking into overclock possibilities for my chip but I have noticed that this mb has a 4+1 phase power design. While I have no idea what this means it seems there is some negativity as to its ability to overclock, and I was looking for some expert advice. Also finding any guides to explain overclocking in the ASrock BIOS are difficult to find. I have updated the BIOS to its latest version. Any input is welcome thank you.

The Asrock Extreme 3 isn't a good overclocking board.

Here's my Asrock Extreme 9 (12 + 2 power phase design ), which is a great overclocking board , with my big Air cooler.
