Graphics Card Dilema

GTX 650Ti BOOST SLI or a GTX 680? I heard SLI is better. i dont intend to upgradr soon but i hear single GPU is better than sli. Both are in my budget.

There won't be a big difference in performance between 1 GTX680 and two 650ti's, and given that you're almost always better off going with the fastest single card you can, the 680 is my theoretical suggestion just between the two options you posted. But, honestly the best thing for you to do would be to get the GTX770 which is faster than either of your two choices and cheaper than the 680.

SLI isn't better. Single cards are more stable, don't have scaling issues, and have more even frame timing.

SLI is better then AMDs crossfire, but I still recommend a single card configuration when possible.
