Hey, Im pretty new to building computers and this will be my first build and im just wondering if all of these components will work together and if there are any changes you guys would make. I am building a $2000 gaming rig and here are the parts;

CPU - Haswell i7-4770k
Cooler - Corsair H100i
Mobo - MSI Z87 Mpower Max ATX
RAM - Corsair Dominator GT DDR3 2133 8GB
GPU - MSI GTX 770 Lightning
SSD - Samsung 840 Pro 128 GB
PSU - Rosewill Capstone 750W
Optical - Asus 24x DVD/CD Burner
Case - Enermax Ostrog GT
OS - Windows 8 Pro

I have and old HDD that i can put in for media and such just wondering what you guys think about this build because im a bit nervous spending that much money if things are not going to work smoothly. Thanks

Everything is pretty decent ,except the OS is pretty big file. It contains 30+gb so you might want considered a bigger SSD. I have a 840 series 250gb which works everything fine.

also wondering if the H100i will fit in the Ostrog GT??? If anyone has tried let me know. It says it can fit a 240mm rad but im mostly wondering about ram and mobo clearance with the fans in a pull config out of my case for better airflow.

The 120GB SSD will be fine, you mainly just need it for your OS. Also I looked into the measurements, you should be fine with the H100i CPU cooler.

Yah, it works perfectly fine and a good budget for the case too.Though it's a little bit hard to clean the bottom filter.
As for the SSD,the reason i got the 250 GB of 840 series is because I install all of my program in the SSD and put all of my media file such as movie,music and photoes in the HDD. But you can go with 128 GB SSD by only set it as a boot drive and configure it to the HDD. (That's where your other programs will be installed)
