"sfPortal returned status code 500"

I get that error, when I try to comment on articles.

Additionally, I always have 1 notification left. But it's

neither a PM or a forum post that has been replied to.

Any help?

What browser are you using? Have you cleared your cache lately? We've been doing a lot of work recently on article commentary systems, and there might well be some leftover funkiness remaining for you.

I tried clearing my cache and cookies (even though they do this when FF closes anyway).

I don't get the error code mentioned in this thread, but instead the field within which I type my

comments for an article, turns completely red, with the message "an error has occured"; leaving

me unable to post my comment to the article.
