Mouse DPI settings[not gaming mouse]

i want a help........i need to decrease my mouse dpi to 400......can anyone help me with this???.....this is not a gaming mouse...no buttons for macro mapping.....i use microsoft intellipoint for macro editing.......now i only need the dpi solution.......my mouse is microsoft basic optical mouse v2.0 model-1113

as far as i can tell your mouse is 800dpi

why do you want to decrease your dpi to 400?

if cursor speed is the issue you should change your pointer speed in the windows mouse properties dialog box.

the intellipoint may have an option as well so look through it.

i want to decrease dpi for gaming.....it gives comfort and precise aim+.....i xperienced a roccat mouse with 400dpi settings....i loved that

also i checked intellipoint...no dpi settings but sensitivity

decreasing dpi actually decreases accuracy.

try reducing windows mouse speed instead.
