So I've decided to build my own gaming PC, I've read around and come up with what I want inside the thing. The cost however is maybe a little too high than I had anticipated and I was hoping that I could get advice on whether or not it's all compatible and if I could make cut backs without drastically degrading the quality of the rig. I'm new building PCs and so don't have a huge understanding of the inner workings.

So these are what I've chosen thus far. Price is RRP in pounds.

CPU
Intel i7 3770K £249.39
Intel i5 3570K £170.94

GPU
Nvidia GTX 660 Ti £220.97
Nvidia GTX 680 £329.99

RAM
Corsair 8GB 1600MHz £39.16

Storage
Samsung 840 Pro Series 128GB SSD £106.99
WD Black 1TB HDD £66.74

Motherboard
AsRock Z77 £132.17

Case
Fractal Design Define R4 £77.31

Power
Seasonic 520W £65.66

Any advice is welcome, thanks for any help!

I should say, the low end of these specs is approx £880. I was looking to spend more like £500 if possible.

There's brand new hardware that was just released this week so the 3570K and 3770K have been replaced with the 4670K and the 4770K, respectively. What is the maximum that you're willing to spend?

I think the new range will be well out of my budget. I was looking to pay roughly £500 total.
