It doesnt need free stuff to make it a good OS. It IS a good OS. Go away mac troll.
  6. Nice, I will have to see what comes of this, I would like to get a tablet this year.
  7. Microsoft would make more money if it stayed as a software company making office available for Android and iOS instead of making hardware in order to push Windows 8 RT.
  8. I think a Surface Pro with full Win 8 that is the same size as the current Surface RT, and includes Office 2013, would be a real winner. Hopefully the newer chips coming out will make it possible.

Ok, I'll bite. What DOES make a good OS for a tablet? And for the record, my Acer Iconia W700 Windows 8 tablet goes from complete shutdown to working Windows in 7 seconds.
  10. This is what I've been waiting for. Small, WinTel machine, keyboard, Office, this is what I need in the working world. Like linkgx1 wrote earlier "They should have done this earlier."
  11. I want to have a 7 inch Windows 8 Tablet-P.C. :-D
