hello,

ive picked out all the parts for my build except for the motherboard. everytime i find a mother board that i think i want i read the feedback and it has alot of high ratings but then it will also have alot of low ratings...can some one please take my headache away and throw some mobo ideas at me, im really trying to not spend alot but what ever..

itll be for a i5 3570k. doesnt need to sli ill only have one good gpu on it. i wasnt planning on a micro board but if theres a really good one at a decent cost ill consider it. as of right now im not planning on overclocking anything but i might later on

the system will be mostly for gaming

ASRock Z77 Extreme4 Motherboard

Actually the thing is that, nothing in this world is perfect, and critics always feel the need to point out flaws in something. That is why they are known as critics. If something has some good qualities, it will have some bad ones as well.

Well, for every single board on earth, there will be "some" negative comments. You should look at its reviews from trusted reviewing websites like Tom's, etc.

I would recommend above one as it is budget friendly when it comes to performance mobos and also has plenty of slots for whatever you want to throw in.. It also supports some heavy overclocking and is pretty safe too.

Go for it, it won't be a bad choice for you. Keep in mind its ATX Mobo.

I agree with luckiest charm, nothing is perfect in this world.
But according to me u go with
ASUS P8Z77-V LX
GIGABYTE Z77X D3H
These mobos are best at price and performance.
ASRock is also good but it don't have long life.
I hope it helps.
Thank you.

would any of those 3 be a good choice? it would be nice to get that micro board at that price if its worth it

For one, because your CPU has unlocked multiplier, stay away from H series.
Out of the 3 I would consider the last one (Z68) due to overclocking facilities.

Actually, you can gain massive improvements from overclocking your CPU and it would take hardly 30 minutes. Just going in bios and raising multiplier. Get a Z series mobo and overclock your CPU. If you paid for the 'K' chip, you should take advantage of it too. It is meant to be overclocked.
