Games reset back to 1920x1080 res when using a 2560x1440 res monitor?

Hello everyone,

I have a 2560x1440 monitor (Asus PB278Q) and I love it. One problem though...all my games auto reset to 1920x1080 every time I go to play them so I have to reset games back to 2560x1440. Anyone know why this is occuring?

I'm using GTX 670 4gb SLI as well btw.

Update: Guild wars 2 keeps the resolution, but battlefield and bioshock infinite keeps resetting to 1080p when I load it up? No idea why still...

Games that work fine:
Counter Strike Go
Bioshock Infinite
Guild Wars 2
Civilization 5
Shogun 2

Games that have issues:
Battlefield 3
Starcraft 2

I load the game and for some reason it constantly switches back to 1080p when I set it up under 1440p. These two games maybe the settings are messed up for them? I feel like this would be a more common issue...now one has any ideas???

I have the same 2560x1440 monitor (Asus PB278Q) Love it but haven't had any problems like that but I only play battlefield 3 and Bioshock Infinite also I have a crossfire set up with 2 sapphire 7970oc boost editions and I haven't had any problems might be a driver issue I would uninstall your driver and put a fresh on and see what happens
