Hey guys,

Got an idiot here. So I just tried updating my 840 via magician it said click OK for shut down. I clicked OK now the computer will not boot. When I went into command prompt dir c:/ it says it's a empty.

Specs: win 8, a6 5400k.

I am in panic mode since I got few unbacked up files on there. Tried contacting Sammy but they don't handle those issues at night so decided to see what the community has to say. Anyway to restore the system or at least recover the files?

Thanks!

PS. I also posted it in the wrong section. My apologies, I am on my tablet. Will repost in proper place.

You can use 'Recover my files', lots of softwares out there which use the same process of recovering. If your OS is corrupt, connect the SSD to another system and recover.

Good luck!
