Been out of PC gaming for a long time but finally built a new computer (have the last parts coming today). Had a pretty tight budget (right around $800) but I think I got a pretty good system.
i5 3570K - $169
Zalman 9900 Max cooler - $25
Asrock Extreme4 - $94
16 gb Crucial Ballistix Sport RAM - $80
Sapphire Radeon 7870 Ghz Edition (couldn't pass up the price and the free games!) - $176
eVGA SuperNOVA 750W Modular Bronze Power Supply - $70
WD 1TB Black - $80
Diablotek EVO case (not a great case but it gets the job done and has 4 quiet fans) - $40
+ tax and a dvd drive made it right about $800.
