I have:

Motherboards:
M1* Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3
M2* ECS P67H2-A3

Memory:
R1* Kingston HyperX blu ------- 2x4GB 1600MHz
R2* Kingston HyperX Genesis - 2x4GB 1600MHz
R3* Kingston HyperX Beast ---- 4x8GB 1600MHz

PC1:
Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3
Intel i7 2600 @4.1GHz

PC2:
ECS P67H2-A3
Intel i5 2500K @3.3GHz

I used a PC1 with 16GB (R1+R2) - and my PC work correctly.
I bought a 32GB (R3) and put on the PC1 - and my PC work very slow and CPU usаge is 50%~100%.
I disconnected one slot from (R3) and my PC1 work correctly with 24GB.
I try R3 memory on PC2 and work fine.
I work video editing BluRay rendering 3h-6h per day.
Tell me is it wise to put the M2 on PC1 or something else to do?

Most manufacturers never got around to tuning the BIOS for 32 GB sets on the Z68 mobos, do you have the latest BIOS? If not get that and try under XMP..if it does work post up the base DRAM timings that are currently there like 9-9-9-24 or whatever, what your Command Rate/Command timing is (chould be 2T or 2N), what DRAM voltage is, what MC (memory controller) voltage is (on your mobo, I think it's either VCCIO or CPUVTT or VTT), System agent voltage (VCCSA) and go into the advanced/secondary timings and find what the tRFC ( may be shown as Row Refresh Cycle Time or similar) is at
