1500 dollar multi purpose computer for a friend

This list looks pretty good. If he is going to do digital art/design, you will probably want to double the RAM/memory to 32GB making it workstation class. More RAM allows for a faster machine, increased multitasking, and great rendering performance, which is a must in digital design.
