Huntkey would be the about the last choice you'd make when selecting a psu

How is the 12 gig of RAM configured?

Hmmmm at that price i thought it might be a possibility. But it worked fine before? Could it be a driver issue? Th RAM is 3 x 4Gb with XMP enabled in the BIOS at 1833 Mhz.

You could check the temperatures of the graphics card , but that shouldnt cause a restart so I would suspect the psu still

Your RAM is an issue . Your mb supports dual channel , or quad channel memory . With 3 sticks in it you have forced it in to single channel . That either halves or quarters the bandwidth which the processor can access the RAM . Probably the kit you have was intended for an older i7 920 which did use triple channel .
Its voltage will be too high as well .
You should be 1.5 volt or less .
This is not likely to be the cause of the restarts

Try removing one stick so you have 8 gig in dual channel . Your manual will tell you how

Thank you so much for your reply. Passmark benchmark shows that my memory performs extremely well. I dont get any crashes while running benchmark tests or burn in tests. Voltage in BIOS defaults to 1.5 V. I will give it a try though. Maybe I should disable XMP to begin with. With XMP enabled the memory runs at 1.65V Also, my CPU is liquid cooled and never goes over 58 degrees celcius. Graphic card sticks at max of 67 degrees. I planning to replace the ram first. Im only usig it because i got it for free.
