Asus P8Z77-V won't boot

Just built my new PC, all good until I booted it for the first time. I have a i5 3570k, Asus P8Z77-V, 2x4gb sticks of Corsair 1600mhz RAM and an old Zotac Geforce GTX 460. When I first booted nothing happened, no screen output nothing, all the fans span but no beeps or screen output. The CPU led stayed red though. I took out the CPU and checked the pins, none of them are bent. Put it back, booted again and everything looked like it was working but then I got 1 short beep, no output again and the boot device led lit red. Any ideas?

Ignore me the graphics card, all working now
