As the title says, I was wondering if it is at all possible to turn the x42 headsets from wireless to wired. They were a present last Christmas and despite being built for the XBOX 360, I primarily use them for PC gaming, with the help of the PC cord you could buy from the TB website.
It's a little late to be replacing them but to be honest the sound quality on them is superb, they're comfortable etc. etc. and I'd rather not go paying for another pair when these are already excellent. The hassle comes down to the fact that they require two AAA batteries, they just run out so fast.
I've seen some tutorials for converting devices to AC power, but is there a way to do it without soldering the insides of the device, just in case there was a potential of damaging the headsets?
Any help would be great.
