Should I do anything if I change my gpu?

I am going to give my pc to a store so that they will change my gpu.However I do not know if I will have to do anything else when they give my pc back.
(unistall old drives and install new drives or something like that)

They probably will do whatever is necessary. Unless you have any problems afterwards, you need not worry.

In any case, posting your current system and the card you are getting will help get a better answer :)

I have a Nvidia Geforce GTS 250 and what I am going to propably install is a MSI VGA PCI X N650Ti 2GD5/OC 2GB BOOST.

Another question that I have is if there is a possibility of my motherboard not being compatible with my new gpu.

What mobo are you using? Posting your whole spec will help a bit. Especially what PSU you are using.

my pc specs:
cpu:intel core i3 530 2,93ghz

motherboard: Foxconn H55MXV series

gpu:nVida Geforce gts 250

ram:4GB (two rams 2gb each)

OS:win 7 32 bit

PSU:600W max

If you that means something similar to this :

Then you should be pretty safe. The card has a Pcie 3.0 but you motherboard only has a 2.0 slot. But that shouldn't be a problem at all.

In all, you should be good. The only problem I see is the drivers not being uninstalled / installed properly. But if the people you are sending it to are even reasonable skilled then you should be fine.

You might even have to mention the brand of your PSU.
