So, after 3 weeks of googling, getting a passive adapter, returning it. Then buying an active adapter. My three monitors still won't work together.
One is an Asus VH222 and one Samsung Syncmaster 740bx on each side of the Asus.
The Samsungs are both hooked up through DVI. While the Asus is DisplayPort actively converted to HDMI.
I am running an XFX HD Radeon 6770, and Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit.
At first I went through the desktop properties, it said "Can't save settings" when I extended all three monitors.
I then went to CCC (Catalyst Control Center). It said that I had to disable a display to have another one. So still a no go. At this time I am running 11.2 CCC.
I updated CCC to 13.4. (latest)
Did everything again with 13.4. Same issues.
EDIT* Forgot the link for the adapter.
