I would like to know which of the Asus Z87 would accept Kingston Hyper X Blu
2 x 8 GB memory units. They have 240 pins.

Tried to find out in both Kingston and Asus web sites, but it seems the MOBOs were launched recently and there is no information about compatibility issues between them.

Thank you

Hello

I do not know what speed you might be looking at but the memory is compatible. Moreover, you can find similar type of HyperX memory listed in the Asus's QVL. One of the HyperX which is listed in QVL is the following - DDR3-1600MHz 2 x8GB (KHX16C10B1K2/16X). Since you are going with upgrade, I would suggest you to go with anything higher than 1866MHz. 16GB is a good amount of memory, I think it is more than enough to run most of the programs unless you are trying to run VM. I hope that answers your question. Cheers, mate.

P.S - Make sure the memory whatever you are trying is a NON-ECC module.

You're welcome :hihi:

Yes, the memory is compatible. The memory which I have quoted and the one which you have mentioned are the same except one being a kit and the other is a single 8GB module. The memory will work fine and I can assure you that. Cheers!!:cheese:
