Hey guys,

I have just built my first budget rig and now i'm really interested in getting a watercooling loop in there just for the CPU, i know it won't make much difference, and honestly it's mostly for the flashiness of it, I'm not even planning on doing any OC (for now). Will you recommend me buying the parts separately or is there any good kit out there, that's also not very expensive?

Specs:
AMD Phenom II X4 Quad Core 965 Black Edition
ASUS M5A78L-M Motherboard
MSI GTX 650TI Power Edition 1GB
Western Digital 500GB 6Gb/s HDD
2x Kingston 2048MB DDR3 1600MHz HyperX Blu
NOX CoolBay SX Red Devil Case
Cooler Master E600W PSU

A good air cooler would make more sense with your build, but if you really want a water cooled CPU, you should grab an AiO solution. Is that a 120 or a 140 mm rear fan? How about at the top of your case, how much space is there?

Yeah that's a 120mm, there's nothing at the top, only two holes on top of that rear fan, suggesting a radiator at the back.

I didn't notice you stated the case, now I see it. Well one option is a 120mm single radiator at the rear. The other option is a 120mm double radiator at the bottom, but I wouldn't recommend it.
I don't know how much you want to spend, but I can recommend you the Corsair H80i. I had the H100i and it performed very well. The H80i is in fact the same, half-sized, only slightly worse, but in some reviews it's stated as even better. But if you want it at least near silent, you need definitely other fans, the stock fans are terrible loud.

Yes i was thinking about that, definitely new fans. One radiator is enough for cooling a quad core CPU?

Well, you can't generally say that, but it's definitely enough to cool your CPU. I've had a Phenom II X6 1075T first with the H100i, the temps were about 30°C at idle and 50°C at load (with a custom curve). Both my former X6 and your X4 have a TDP of 125W so I guess you'll get similar values.

Edit: I forgot, I had Akasa Piranha fans attached to my H100i, they are very quiet at lower RPM and have high static pressure. Or the top-notch solution: Noctua NF-F12, their colour would fit in your case, too.
